YOUNG PEOPLE IN SOCIAL EDUCATION MEASURE IN PARNAÍBA/PI: LIFE SPEELINGS AND BODIES AT WAR

Abstract

The construction of the socially dangerous youngster, in Brazil, is built upon prejudiced and stigmatized determinisms. This role is projected on the marginalized poor black population, historical and cultural subjects predestined to die young. In 2019, out of a 45.503 homicide register, 34.466, amounting of over three thirds overall, were comitted against a black person. In more than a half of the general number (23.327), young people were the victims. The data demonstrates a reality that has been built and intensified in Brazil from the times of colonial society to the present day. It unconvers the Racial Democracy Myth enforced in Brazil, and the inconclusive abolitionism that inflict conditions of misery and criminalization on the black population. The biography of a body that is predestined for death, the necrography, is written through the incorporation of stigmatizing labels on young black people in Brazil and all over the world, authorizing their deaths. But even with such an imposition, the objective of the following research is to investigate which youth is produced by the experiences of young people interned in Sedida, an open social education enforcement environment located in Parnaíba-PI, and discover their life graphs, defined as Minor Biography, which seek to depict how they inhabit their territories, draw escape lines and produce life. For data production, the Sociopoetic field was valued as an ethos, considering it's promotion of the decolonizing experience as a principle. In the data production workshop, becomings-creatures-lives were invented, that expose the Faction-War-Problem-Business, an important contour in the production of youth subjectivity in Parnaíba-PI. In addition to this denunciation, the data revealed lines of flight for the production and expansion of life through the art of radical maneuvers on motorcycles, love, friendship and relationships.
