About the Journal

The Magazine Journal Linguagem, Educação e Sociedade (LES) is a vehicle for scientific dissemination of the Graduate Program in Education, of the Education Sciences Center, of the Federal University of Piauí, created in 1996, with the edition of two annual numbers, starting to be published in the electronic version, from 2017, with quarterly publication.

LES aims to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of Education and related areas, produced by Brazilian and foreign researchers, favoring the exchange and exchange of knowledge between national and international researchers.

The Magazine publishes original and unpublished research results, bibliographic reviews and reviews of works relevant to the field of Education, in Portuguese, Spanish and English, in accordance with its editorial policy. It was classified in Qualis-Capes 2013-2016 as B1 and in Qualis-CAPES 2017-2020 as A3.
