Abstract

This is an integrative literature review research conducted in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Nursing Database - Brazilian Bibliography (BDENF), CINAHL Database, US National Library of Medicine (PubMed), SciELO - Scientific Electronic Library Online and ScienceDirect with the keywords "nursing diagnoses"; “cardiovascular disorder”. Structured data collection took place between September 2019 and December 2020. Sixteen scientific articles were published between 2004 and 2020, mostly published in Portuguese (n = 11). Considering the type of study, most studies were classified as descriptive (n = 14). The most frequent nursing diagnosis among the studies was Activity intolerance. From this review we conclude that new studies about the realization of nursing diagnoses aimed at cardiovascular diseases, with the use of Nursing theories, need to be conducted to provide greater scientific basis for nursing practice.
