About the Journal

The Infection Prevention and Health Journal (REPIS) ISSN: 2446-7901, is an international scientific journal, open access, peer-reviewed, edited by the publisher of the Federal University of Piauí and linked to the Human Exposome and Diseases Network (HEID).

REPIS is the dissemination vehicle for HEID, a non-profit, global network of researchers committed to studying, preventing, and controlling infectious diseases, recognizing the complexity of the human exposome and the threat to planetary health.

The journal is non-profit and offers free access to readers, with the article processing charge (APC) covered by HEID and the Federal University of Piauí.

REPIS is highly visible and indexed in the following databases: DOAJ; Scholar Google;  Index Copernicus International and Research Bible.

REPIS offers rapid publication, with initial decisions made approximately 07 days after submission and post-peer review decisions in about 40 days.

Objective: To publish research in the field of infectious diseases, focusing on those related to the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections.

Mission: To promote the expansion of technical-scientific knowledge about infectious diseases, significantly contributing to public health. We are committed to publishing rigorous and practical research in epidemiology and clinical aspects of major infectious diseases.
