Sexual and reproductive rights: between control and freedom

This text is an expectation of an essay that aroused the discomfort generated during the author's trajectory as a woman in the world, encouraged by the experiences lived in the times and spaces in which she was present, including in the Gender and Phenomenology Study Group in which she participates. The text makes a brief reflection on the concept of sexual and reproductive rights, associated with the condition of women's lack of freedom and the institutional control of their bodies. The Declaration of the 1975 International Women's Year Conference understands that respect for the human body is a requirement for dignity and freedom. The body, being fully understood, includes expressions of sexuality, if these are historically disrespected, annulled, and marginalized, how can we women be free?
