​Dear readers, authors, and collaborators,

​We are pleased to announce the resumption of activities at the Informe Econômico journal—following an interruption during 2018 and 2019—now exclusively in electronic format. Over recent decades, since its original print version, this periodical has played a significant role in the dissemination of knowledge within the field of Applied Social Sciences.

​In 2020, the journal has undergone a reorganization of its editorial team and an update of both the author guidelines and submission standards. This process aims to further enhance its contribution to the regional, national, and international academic communities.

​The texts submitted and approved from this year onwards will be made available on a rolling publication and will be published in semiannual issues and special editions.

​Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all readers, authors, collaborators, and the editorial team who have been and continue to be part of our journal's history.
