De artes e efrações: reflexões sobre uma etnografia multissiada

Résumé

A construção do sujeito moral no Movimento Gülen se realiza por meio da corporificação de disposições morais, cognitivas e afetivas informadas pelos princípios da tradição islâmica conforme a interpretação do seu líder religioso. A performance de um programa disciplinar composto por práticas rituais islâmicas e “islamizadas” requer e, ao mesmo tempo, produz uma base material e moral que se reproduz pelo espaço do exílio. A relação intrínseca entre a construção do sujeito moral e a construção social do espaço se mostrou fundamental para a compreensão dos efeitos desse programa disciplinar sobre as subjetividades e trajetórias individuais. Como o Movimento Gülen é uma rede muçulmana turca transnacional, em que a migração faz parte do seu projeto missionário de reforma moral da sociedade global, este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a importância da etnografia multissituada de grupos sociais marcados pela mobilidade.

Núcleo de Estudos do Oriente Médio da Universidade Federal Fluminense. A partir de 01/01/2023: HE MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgica. doutora em Antropologia pela Universidade Federal Fluminense. Possui mestrado também em Antropologia pela Universidade Federal Fluminense e graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Candido Mendes. A partir de 1 de janeiro de 2023, será pós-doutoranda na Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, pela HORIZON Europe MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship. É também pesquisadora associada ao Núcleo de Estudos do Oriente Médio (NEOM) da UFF e cofundadora e editora da “Revista Diáspora – Oriente Médio & Norte da África”. Suas principais publicações incluem o livro “Ya Habibi: conversão feminina ao islã no Rio de Janeiro” (Ed. Ponteio/EdUCAM) e artigos nos periódicos “Religions”, “Brésil(s): sciences humaines et sociales” e “Politics, Religion & Ideology”.
