Abstract

Studies aimed at determining biophysical indices are of fundamental importance for agrometeorological, climate monitoring, weather forecasting and environmental management studies. Thus, technicians based on orbital remote sensing stand out for estimating values ​​requiring few local data for analysis and for operational speed. In this context, this article seeks to identify an average variation in the values ​​of the radiation balance correlating with the surface albedo, the NDVI and the surface temperature, resulting from the construction of the Bezerro dam lake in the municipality of José de Freitas - PI. For this, a modeling was performed using the Qgis software on scenes from the LANDSAT 5 TM sensor with pass data from 07/03/1991 and 07/17/2008, in orbit 219 and point 63 with a spatial resolution of 30 meters and in geotif format. As a result, it was found that the mean values ​​of the indices between the analyzed time frame did not vary greatly for surface temperature.
