Considering the effects of cisnormativity and gender binarism in identity construction processes, as well as the high dropout rates of trans people in basic education, the low rate of trans people in higher education and the role of educational institutions in the production process and maintenance of gender norms, this article proposes the construction of a research agenda centered on the following question: what social experiences mark(s)m the educational trajectories of non-binary people? In the combination of debates on transidentities and education, a theoretical-reflective exercise is developed to justify the importance of studies on the specificities of non-binary identities, with special attention to the educational experiences of such subjects.
