Results: It was found that 78.30% of nursing technicians reported having been absent from work due to COVID-19. Most technical nursing professionals, 82.27%, reported having had access to PPE during the pandemic, but only 78.4% reported having had some training in the use of PPE. We also observed that regarding the placement of PPE, that before the educational intervention 53.2% of nursing technicians and 57.8% of nurses and after the intervention it increased to 45.5% and 36.8%. Regarding the correct order of removal before the intervention, 32.9% and 57.8% agreed and after it passed to 34.1% and 52.6% respectively among nursing technicians and nurses.
