In this text I seek to articulate the analysis of imperialism and political emancipation of the bourgeoisie carried out by Hannah Arendt in the second part (Imperialism) of The Origins of Totalitarianism. In a direct criticism of the liberal conception of politics, Arendt establishes a close link between the political emancipation of the bourgeoisie, the politics understood as domination and exploitation, and the process of unlimited accumulation of wealth.
