Extensão universitária: satisfação dos participantes da feira da boa vontade da faculdade de medicina da universidade mandume ya ndemufayo

The extension service is the gateway for the university to take the scientific knowledge it produces to the community in order to improve the quality of life of the community and is also a practical learning environment for students. The Faculty of Medicine of the Mandume Ya Ndemufayo University (FMUMN) regularly promotes the Goodwill Fair, to extend a series of free consultations to society and to provide its students with an environment for professional and civic training. The present study aims to understand the satisfaction of participants with the services provided during the fair in Cathedral Square, Lubango City, Huila Province. The methodology that guided the study is of a quantitative and qualitative nature, the data were collected through a questionnaire with 60 participants. The results indicate that for each of the questions presented to the participants, the level of satisfaction ranges between satisfied and very satisfied, in which the highest record was with the clarity and humanization of medical care, with 20% satisfaction and 80% very satisfied. It is concluded that, in addition to meeting the health needs of the population, the fair provided a valuable opportunity for the development of medical students' skills.
