Abstract

The photos are a derivation of the audiovisual work "Raíz D'água", made in the year 2021 in the city of Barbacena/MG, by photographers Hilreli and Lucas Bertolino. This material was contemplated by the Aldir Blanc Law, Public Notice nº 14/2020 - Scholarship Selection Public Notice for artistic areas, cultural production techniques. From analyses, theoretical insights and reflections, I practice the exercise of experiencing my roots, my history as a creative power. The congado and all its ancestry, reveals symbolic, gestural, sound elements, which provoke to experience scenically.
Practical references in this text are living in Congo and Mozambique in Ibertioga/MG, knowledge transmitted orally through family members and the main authors are: Leda Maria Martins (1997), Juliana Mota (2012) and Jarbas Siqueira Ramos (2017, 2019) .
