QUE REPÚBLICA? ARENDT, DO LEGADO CLÁSSICO AO REPUBLICANISMO MODERNO
Abstract
This article has as its centrality the analysis of the theoretical influence exerted by the authors of classical republicanism on the thought of Hannah Arendt. We understand that it is within the horizon of this tradition that Arendt seeks to identify the roots that inspired the men of the modern revolutions, not with the intention of defending a return to the past, but of using it as a resource to think the present. Our objective, therefore, is to compare the dialogue and the influence of the authors of classical republicanism on arendtian thought, thus contributing to elucidate the republican grammar present in her writings.
