Gênero, classe e etnia nos processos seletivos
Considerações em seleções de mulheres na cidade de Teresina – PI em 2020
Abstract
This work aims to disseminate my findings during the monograph research of the Social Work course. The research aimed to observe how gender standards, in particular beauty and femininity standards, affect women's access to the formal labor market in the city of Teresina - Piauí (Brazil) in the year 2020. Data collection through an online form with men and women and the interview with a recruiter and specialist in human resources processes. Common topics observed in the applied questionnaires were used to guide the interview with the Human Resources recruiter from several companies in the city, using Critical Discourse Analysis to analyze the data collected during the interview. After analysis, several mechanisms for maintaining privileges of specific groups in recruitment interviews were observed, to the detriment of excluding others.
